It ended up only being 2 shows he had. They were pretty good.

The ladies didn't set out to be crime solvers. They just happened to be around and got involved in the things that happened. The shows were kind of goofy, actually, and one of the women tampered with a crime scene, even though I was telling her not to. LOL

It kind of reminded me of Monk, in that it made us laugh a lot, and also, we'd say or think, "That was a stretch."Corner Gardener Suehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10631500918579405664noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3822343629005349934.post-25280732993483748912011-09-17T22:17:52.736-05:002011-09-17T22:17:52.736-05:00Love Brit shows, especially Last of the Summer Win...Love Brit shows, especially Last of the Summer Wine, Keeping Up Appearances and As Time Goes By. I've wondered about the Rosemary and Thyme series as I've not had a chance to watch them yet. Will have to check back for your review of it.Lynnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09183411349771545067noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3822343629005349934.post-80084653314089116172011-09-15T19:53:29.959-05:002011-09-15T19:53:29.959-05:00Dorothy and Sue - I'll watch a couple of episo...Dorothy and Sue - I'll watch a couple of episodes and let you know my recommendations :-)Jaynehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09993407315693699146noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3822343629005349934.post-43964370893149038822011-09-15T19:48:53.959-05:002011-09-15T19:48:53.959-05:00Hi Jayne,

I didn't like Keeping up with Appearances as well, but we did watch it for awhile. We have seen Outnumbered a few times, but I decided I don't want to get hooked on that. I get worn out from all the antics of the kids. We have our own grandkids once a week, and that's enough for me. Do I sound like an old crank? We started to watch something about a guy's parents tricking him into coming home, and then, him finding out they are having money problems. I wouldn't mind watching that again. I sure am carrying on! I want to ask him if he's heard of this one. It sounds like something we'd both be willing to watch.Corner Gardener Suehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10631500918579405664noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3822343629005349934.post-81496601719917089642011-09-15T19:37:40.623-05:002011-09-15T19:37:40.623-05:00I always look forward to my Acorn catalog. I've looked at "Rosemary and Thyme" also and pondered ordering it. It certainly sound like something I might enjoy. There are so many British mystery series that I love. Maybe I need to add this one to my list.Dorothy/Gardening with Naturehttp://gardeningwithnature.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3822343629005349934.post-44528169455882027652011-09-14T11:40:57.151-05:002011-09-14T11:40:57.151-05:00Hi Kyna. I ordered a series of this, and I'm looking forward to watching it :-) I'll have to check that Saturday night lineup on PBS, although that is our "wine on the patio" night.Jaynehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09993407315693699146noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3822343629005349934.post-76177884985582171682011-09-14T11:31:52.286-05:002011-09-14T11:31:52.286-05:00Saturday night's 'Brit Night' on PBS, ...Saturday night's 'Brit Night' on PBS, and I'm always glad when I'm not working so Chuck and I can sit down and watch together.

Right now the lineup is As Time Goes By, Waiting For God (which is one of my favourite shows ever), Keeping Up Appearances and Outnumbered. They used to follow with episodes of Rosemary and Thyme, and I really liked that show. I'm not even a big 'mystery' girl.

Now they have Poirot on, which I don't like at all. Chuck likes to say 'Poirot!' at me, in a silly French accent, just to annoy me :PKynahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13222304237028745181noreply@blogger.com
