As the temperatures hovered around 99 degrees all this week, I ran the sprinklers in the early morning to try and save the garden.
One added benefit -- I love the way the sprinklers left drops of water on this Rose of Sharon bloom.
This is my entry into Macro Flowers Saturday, hosted by maiaT.

The water droplets do add something to the photo! They always do!! I love the blue sky in the background, too!
I love those flowers!
Thanks guys. Ohh, I just noticed on my weather widget - the temperature only hit 95 degrees today! Better get a light jacket!
I love flowers with drops of water. Beautiful!
Hello, Jayne, I was just on Sue's site and found you. I am so glad I did. I am also from England. I love your blog and will visit often. Pam
Thanks Sue :-) Hi Pam - nice to meet a fellow Englishwoman. Thanks for following me. I'll check your blog in the morning, getting a bit late now :-)
What a beautiful photo. That blue sky is just amazing and your white flower just pops. Have a wonderful weekend, Patty
What a lovely capture with the blue sky in the background and the raindrops on the bud.
We both had the same thoughts when we posted our Macro Flowers Saturday post.
